As you already know PD-Proxy 2.0 was released without TCP protocol support because of the TCP over TCP problem. A detailed explanation about that problem can be read here.
But since more users requested to add this protocol, we are now releasing an updated version with TCP support. You can connect to our TCP servers on 3 configured ports namely 80,8080 and 443. The port can be set to your client in ( Settings tab > Advanced settings > Proto > TCP Port Setting ). We also added HTTPS Proxy support for the TCP connection. The proxy settings will only be used if you are connecting using the TCP protocol. Right now only HTTPS proxies without authentication can be used.
The PD-Proxy server also now supports a new compression algorithm(LZF) that would function much faster than the algorithm that we are currently using(ZLIB). You can change the compression algorithm in your client settings ( Settings tab > Advanced settings ). You can choose None, ZLIB or LZF.
We urge everyone to update now your client to this latest version because older clients will no longer receive updated list of servers. This new version also includes the bugfixes to some of minor errors that we found.
Head over to our download page to get the new version. We will push the auto-update software soon to existing clients if you do not have the time to download it in our website.
